Nagios - CPU and Memory monitoring?

Just got Nagios installed and configured. The CGI's are working great. I
love the VRML 3D display.
Now, how do I monitor memory and CPU usage?
Also it seems that with a proper SNMP + plugin one should be able to
monitor almost any resource - including z/OS. Anyone tried this?
