I wouldn't give those lawyers any credit for getting MS a free pass. MS lost the case on the facts, and their lawyers let them make fools of themselves - remember the rigged demo, and Gates' statement the "he " didn't mark a message 'high importance' - "the computer did". The decision was overturned on a 'procedural' error because Judge Jackson made public remarks about the case, and the appeal judge wasn't interested in any facts, just in letting MS off the hook.
