While obviously supported... one must ask the question... Why would someone want SLES7? SLES8 works with a much broader range of HW and SW. If you have SLES7 in house.. great... but otherwise, if you choose SUSE, I'd go with SLES8.

SLES9 apparently will have full 2.6 kernel support (from
what I hear).  I'm guessing that SLES9 will also have
2.4 kernel support as well.  You can already see the
elements in SUSE 9 for attempting to handle both kernels
transparently (though more work needs to be done).
