I doubt you'll find a binary for it. You can get a source RPM here:
ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/9.0/suse/src/gaim-0.67-55.src.rpm
and build it from that, perhaps. One thing to keep in mind, is that this
is
an X-based application, which means you'll be burning a lot of CPU, just
to
drive the interface.
Now, if you want to run an Instant Messaging _server_, that's a whole
'nother ball game.
Gaim is only a client, not a server. I've played with the Jabber server
from jabber.org, and that has some nice features, which have already been
mentioned.
