But obviously you would need to make sure that using 1k block size is
not going to affect performance in such a way that you regret what you
started... You'd make your I/O not eligble for MDC, for example. And you
could expect the amount of pages locked for I/O concurrently to be
higher I think. Unless you have a clear view on your workload, I think
the general trade-off is not trivial.
