Hello from Gregg C Levine I agree. According to the home page that covers GNU's activities, they even state that. In fact, they indicate that the correct term, is what our correspondent says, but they will accept Linux.
Mr. Stallman, in Cliff Stoll's excellent book, "Cuckoo's egg", is described as loudly proclaiming that software should be given away for free. Naturally his EMACS is a terrific example of that proclamation. I don't of course need to give the whole history behind Linux, and the basis behind it, the utilities, the programs, et cetera, but it all adds up. ------------------- Gregg C Levine [EMAIL PROTECTED] ------------------------------------------------------------ "The Force will be with you...Always."
