Must be in upper case, if specified.  If not specified, you need latest
patches from Developworks, I think, and if this is real OSA, the microcode
upgrade.  Also, it must match any other user of the same OSA.  If virtual
OSA, then a CP PTF is required to eliminate portname requirement.
Please post the relevant content of your chandev.conf.
