Run mkinitrd (however you need to make sure you get the new versions of the modules, not the old versions). If you have an /etc/zipl.conf on your system, I would verify that the contents point to the kernel and initrd that you want. You'll probably want to re-run the mkinitrd command to make sure your initrd has the latest (if any) kernel modules in them. Then, re-run zipl and a reboot should finish the job, unless you I'm not aware of any S/390-specific documentation for RHEL3, other than what comes with the software. If anyone does have any pointers, I'd be happy to add them to the web site. Correct? Can anyone point me to any current documentation concerning RHEL AS 3 and S390, almost every book references Redhat version 7.2 TIA, \|/ (. .) ____ooO-(_)-Ooo____ Larry Davis, 6-2380 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For LINUX-390 subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: INFO LINUX-390 or visit http://www.marist.edu/htbin/wlvindex?LINUX-390 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For LINUX-390 subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: INFO LINUX-390 or visit http://www.marist.edu/htbin/wlvindex?LINUX-390 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For LINUX-390 subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: INFO LINUX-390 or visit http://www.marist.edu/htbin/wlvindex?LINUX-390 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For LINUX-390 subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: INFO LINUX-390 or visit http://www.marist.edu/htbin/wlvindex?LINUX-390 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For LINUX-390 subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: INFO LINUX-390 or visit http://www.marist.edu/htbin/wlvindex?LINUX-390
