We have started down the Linux zSeries road. We currently have SUSE Linux running on an LPAR on our IBM 9672-RB6.
Our first customer for the Linux zSeries is going to be using WebSphere Application Server for Linux zSeries. As I was researching the installation of WebSphere App Server V5.1, I found that you must tell it which HTTP Engine you are running; Apache or IBM. This has sparked a lively discussion about which direction we should go. IBM is more than willing to recommend the IBM HTTP engine. I am interested in hearing from those of you that installed WebSphere Application Server to see which road you recommend any why.
