I originally created my filesystems as reiser; however, my /usr and /boot
filesystems were minidisks that were linked r/o.  Reiser does NOT like this.
It wants the journal.  No cajoling, no making pretty faces, no holding the
antenna and contorting body would let the filesystems mount.  I then created
them as ext2 and haven't had an issue since.
