Hi,
sometime ago Mark appended to this forum the attached note (Sharing
reiserfs read-only) , it worked fine and from my test :
GuestB <==read reiserfs of== GuestA
- in zVM : define the IPL statement DIRECTORY of guestB as :
IPL xxxxx PARM DASD=A200(RO)
(where xxxxx your nss or mdisk ipl, mdisk add i.e. A200 in read
only, and it needs to do ipl )
- GuestB: link the mdisk of the other guestA as CP LINK XXXX
A200 RR (if not already linked via directory as A200)
- GuestB: check cat /proc/dasd/devices --> a200(ECKD) at ( 94: 44)
is dasdl (ro): active at blocksize: 4096, 600840 blocks, 2347 MB
- GuestB: mount /dev/dasdl1 /mnt -r
Bye.
