There is a known z990 issue. IBM (Richard Lewis of the Washington System
Center) told us to go to EC 512558 driver level 116 or later on our z990.
Software fixes are VM63385 and TCP/IP ptfs UQ83180 and UQ80870.
QDIO code of June 2003 or later.
We're implementing the changes this weekend.
Rich also said that if you have the VM and TCP/IP updates on but not the
microcode, use NOQIOASSIST on the ATTACH of the OSA statement.
