We're running SuSE 8 w/ SP3, and WebSphere 5.1, and the Shadow Direct
5.225.0 jdbc driver.

Is anyone out there using this particular combination of software?

We are seeing a problem when an RPC is called that then causes DB2 to get
data from IMS. Under the same WebSphere environment/driver level in windows
we do not see the problem.

The problem is this... RPC is called once, data is returned as expected.
RPC is called again, the application never returns from the wait for data
and a java thread goes into a high CPU utilization state and never comes
back down. Occasionaly it will generate a java core dump with a sigsevv
fault against the driver.

I do have the JDBC driver vendor working on this, but I'm wondering if
anyone out there has any experience with this combination of software, and
if anyone has insight as to what we might be doing wrong.

Whatever details might be needed I can certainly supply but we're stumped.
