DB2 Connect enhancements DB2 Connect on Linux for zSeries 64-bit FixPak 5 introduces support for DB2 Connect on Linux for zSeries 64-bit. DB2 Connect on Linux for zSeries 64-bit support is enabled by installing a refresh image at the FixPak 5 level. In other words, installing version 8.1 of DB2 Connect for Linux zSeries, then applying FixPak 5 will not enable 64-bit support. System requirements are as follows: * Hardware: IBM eServer zSeries * Software: SuSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) 8 SP2, kernel level 2.4.19-4, glibc 2.2.5 So does anyone know how to install a refresh image at the FixPak 5 level? Fixpack 5 materials clearly say that a reinstall is required for 64bit support on DB2 Connect 8.1. Now, presumably that means you need to get new install CD's with 64bit support on them, but it didn't exactly say that.
