Yeah. I didn't try fsck. But the problem got solved.
I have used CDL option while running DASDFMT which is not suitable for some of these websphere files.
I have again reformatted the DASD with LDL option, and installed websphere. This has solved my problem.

Hello!
We are having some junk files with improper attributes. I am not able to
issue any kind of commands on these files, even after logging in with
ROOT.
