Hi all, im using kernel 2.4.21 from sinenomine.net. My question is: is
there any way to connect to the cp *monitor system service from linux with
vmlogrdr or something like that?

Also, looking at the april 2004 stream in
http://www10.software.ibm.com/developerworks/opensource/linux390/april2004_restrictions.shtml
it say:

""April 2004 stream" - General Restrictions

The "April 2004 stream" has all features of the "June 2003 stream"
with the following exceptions (functional restrictions):

        * The following functions are not available for use with kernel
2.6:
o z/VM Recording device driver (to read from the z/VM system
service records)
o Support for FCP SAN Management of z990 ("zfcp HBA API
library")
o use_pfix kernel parameter (granting the DIAG98 option to a
Linux VM guest running on 31-bit z/VM)"

That means that we cant use the vmlogrdr with 2.6?

Thanks.
