Hmmm. System Programmer Answer #1: Why would anybody want to do that? (Run with auto update turned on.) Whenever anyone on my team brings up the idea I take a baseball bat to them. I've never blindly used SMP/E to put on maintenance, I sure as shooting am not going to let RPM do it.
But, thanks for the warning. That really was kind of an interesting update they decided to put out. I'm curious as to where the 'fake_ll' parameter gets specified.
