'Mapping' a drive is netbios/smb type of function. The equivalent in Linux is smbmount (or mount -t smb), if you have the samba-client stuff installed.
But to physically attach a Shark to an Intel system would require a SCSI interface on the Intel machine, the proper drivers for Linux to access the Shark and SCSI ports on the Shark.
