Does anyone remember the Debian install process hanging when run under Hercules, under Cygwin, under WINXP? It appears the update-alternatives script is hung and I remember having this problem with the Woody version.
I know, I know, if it hangs in this configuration run it under real iron or Hercules under Linux86!!! >>> [EMAIL PROTECTED] 01/10/05 02:09PM >>> On Jan 10, 2005, at 12:56 PM, Richard Pinion wrote: > Gee, who would have thunk! > > There doesn't appearto be a ping, nslookup, dig, ftp etc.. > I thought there was a ping. It's mostly one big binary, busybox, with a bunch of links pointing to it as different names. Maybe there's ssh? After lunch I can poke around.... I'm pretty sure there IS wget. Try wget http://www.yahoo.com/ and see what happens.
