Well, there's a problem here.
If your FBA device is CMS FORMATted and RESERVEd (so that it becomes a
DIAG device--but you can still access it with the FBA drivers!) then it
suddenly grows a /dev/dasdX1 partition which is what you use.
At least, that's what happens with VDISK. Dunno about actual FBA or
SCSI-presented-as-FBA.
