>Just out of curiosity, how many people are managing their Linux servers
>from a Windows workstation? How many from Linux workstations? How many >from others? I have to admit, trying to manage a lot of guests with just putty can get old (IMHO). I use a linux desktop and find it much easier. I also try to stick with the same flavor on the desktop that I am using on the guests (SuSE). When I am stuck with a Windows machine the first thing I do is install Cygwin. Then you will have xserver and bash commands available. No need for hummingbird. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For LINUX-390 subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: INFO LINUX-390 or visit http://www.marist.edu/htbin/wlvindex?LINUX-390
