If you're running on z/VM, put a file on the guest's 191 disk that contains the information you need it to have. When the system boots for the first time, use the cmsfs utilities to read the file off the 191 disk (note that this does _not_ work with SFS minidisks), and update the appropriate files accordingly.
Or, have a dhcp server on your Guest LAN that provides that information to each guest that comes up.
