When SLES8 came out, they were spelling it SuSE LINUX. At least that's what is on the Intel package I have. Later on, SUSE is the one that changed the company spelling from SuSE to SUSE. (Don't ask me why, those crazy Germans.) It was only some time later that Novell acquired SUSE.
