bogomips are useless in a an environment with any virtualization. Fortunately
the drivers on zSeries don't use them.

Subject: s390 bogomips

I have 4 servers, each defined exactly the same (same memory, dasd,
etc). Why do each of the machines show different bogomips ?

lnx-prd-web1:/proc # cat cpuinfo

vendor_id : IBM/S390

# processors : 1

bogomips per cpu: 313.75

processor 0: version = FF, identification = 0A5354, machine = 2084

lnx-prd-web2:/proc # cat cpuinfo

vendor_id : IBM/S390

# processors : 1

bogomips per cpu: 745.47

processor 0: version = FF, identification = 0A5354, machine = 2084

lnx-prd-app1:/proc # cat cpuinfo

vendor_id : IBM/S390

# processors : 1

bogomips per cpu: 2090.59

processor 0: version = FF, identification = 0A5354, machine = 2084

lnx-prd-app2:/proc # cat cpuinfo

vendor_id : IBM/S390

# processors : 1

bogomips per cpu: 507.90
