Hannes,

I had checked the SUSE portal, and didn't see one. I knew we didn't have a
subscription for Itanium, so I checked ftp.suse.com, and didn't see one
there. I had thought SUSE maintained a "consumer" version for all the
hardware platforms supported by SLES (except for S/390(x)). It now appears
that isn't the case.

Can you point me to an official SUSE (or Novell) statement as to what
hardware platforms will continue have consumer versions built? Or, if
you're allowed, can you tell me yourself?

Thanks,

Mark Post

Sorry???
So what is running on our SGIs? And HPs?

I fear I have to have some words with our marketing folks.
But yes, there is a ia64 version for SLES9.

Cheers,
