Hello: I'm trying to install Slackware on a z800 partition - my first shot at Linux. I ftp'd package "A" and tried to install it with SETUP. I get the following messages: /usr/lib/setup/setup: cannot create /mnt/etc/fstab: No such file or directory /usr/lib/setup/setup: cannot create /mnt/etc/fstab: No such file or directory /usr/lib/setup/setup: cannot create /mnt/etc/fstab: No such file or directory /usr/lib/setup/setup: cannot create /mnt/etc/fstab: No such file or directory /usr//usr/lib/setup/setup: cannot create /mnt/etc/fstab: No such file or directory lib/setup/setup: cannot create /mnt/etc/fstab: No such file or directory /usr/lib/setup/setup: cannot create /mnt/etc/fstab: No such file or directory /usr/lib/setup/setup: cannot create /mnt/etc/fstab: No such file or directory
I did the Target and swap setups ok I think - any ideas?
