Read my note again. I never said it was illegal. I think it is, however, in bad taste to beg others to provide for free what they've paid good (and big) money for. There are no-cost Linux/390 distributions out there, and they work just fine. If someone is unable or unwilling to pay for maintenance from SUSE or Red Hat, then use one of the no-cost variants.
