Remember that it is only WEBSPHERE that can not exploit 64bit Memory addressing .. you can still create a partition with 8Gb of memory running SLES 9 SP1 64bit .. single JVM's however will only be able to address 2Gb of memory each .. and lets face it, if you have an app that's addressing more than 2Gb then it should be clustered.
