There are many variants of network file systems (NFS, AFS, GFS, etc). Linux
on Z can support all of them. NFS and AFS are probably the most widely used
methods.

If you're referring to iSCSI (aka SCSI over IP), it has successfully worked
on Linux on Z with some subset of devices (mostly NetApps and EMC devices,
and the IBM i200), but few folks seem to have done much with it.

 I had the client working on SLES8 with an i200, but no longer have access
to the device, so don't know if it still works with later releases.
