Alan (or someone else) will correct me, but I'm pretty sure that with z/VM 4.3,
all-zero MAC addresses were the way things worked. For a Guest LAN, it really
doesn't make any difference. If this were a VSWITCH, that would be different.

Subject: Guest Lan setup suse9 and z/VM 4.3

Hello,

We are trying to setup guest Lan using QDIO and have carried out following
steps

-snip-
In the ifconfig command, we see HWaddr 00:00:00:00:00:00. I think it
should pick up the NIC's MAC address.
Can anyone guide me through this?
