Hey, if you think dealing with trying to boot from a cranky CDROM, and hand-editing XML is cheating, you don't know what pain is.
This has been on Intel. That was easier for me to try than anywhere else, since I knew before I started it was going to be an iterative process. I have not yet tried it on the mainframe. That was going to be my next step, but I guess I need to see if it is even possible first. (Running the strings command against linuxrc is not real high on my list of fun things either.) I thougth the consensus was that it didn't work on s390[x]. I've never tried it. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For LINUX-390 subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: INFO LINUX-390 or visit http://www.marist.edu/htbin/wlvindex?LINUX-390
