I have a large z/OS file that gets created by COBOL program, can I use the
MVS batch pipes to the FTP client to the UNIX system.
What we are try to do is to sent the data as being created... what is
happing, we are FTP the data after the job is completed.

No. VMNFS accesses only CMS files. If you want to use NFS to access z/OS
data, use the z/OS NFS server.
