Last week I just added a LVM setup to my SLES9 64 bit (SP 2) setup and moved Oracle 10g over to it. It is just a test system and applications ran out of tablespace. So 3 3390-9 volumes should last a month or two.
No problems using Yast to do it. Forgot to do the mkinitrd but did remember to do the zipl afterwards. But it seems to work even between IPL's. So, what kind of problems did you have?
