So there's no easy way to get a real size? That's fugly!
Depends on what you call 'real' (apart from virtual machine size
rounded down a bit)
Memory: 43016k/49152k available (4096k kernel code, 0k reserved, 399k
data, 64k init)
When the kernel has initialized, the 64k init is freed again,
resulting in 43080k or
cat /proc/meminfo | head -n 2
total: used: free: shared: buffers: cached:
Mem: 44113920 25088000 19025920 0 3051520 10993664
And the 44113920/1024 is 43080
Watch for this:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]$ cat /proc/meminfo | head -n 2
MemTotal: 1019684 kB
MemFree: 7860 kB
[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]$
I was going to see what's what on my peecee, but gave up as soon as I
remembered "integrated graphics."
That put me in mind of PSA which I guess is a per-CPU cost.
