It's pretty dated but I think it should still work with the current
kernel and ramdisk. Make sure you have not tampered with the files
during transfer and that you get the record format right.

But when you can have the volume (temporarily) online on another LPAR,
it might be easier to just use a Linux server somewhere to write the
bootstrap on a volume...
