Did you say that MQ puts license info in /tmp? The definition of /tmp is that it can be wiped out, esp. when the system is booted. What happens to your MQ license when /tmp is cleaned out? This seems like a practice that should be ETR'ed and changed before it's too ingrained to get away from...
