I need to get the service packs for SLES, and do other kinds of online updates. I'm guessing from error messages - please verify: are these retrieved via HTTP over port 80?
Also - if I download the service packs now - should I try to integrate them with my file server, or do it a different way? z/OS USS doesn't have the 'rsync' command, so merging the patches ala mksles9root.sh might be a challenge. And third - what is the mechanism for getting packages like Mono which don't (it appears) ship with SLES?
