We had Lunar Lander in FORTRAN for TSO here, but it probably holds the distinction of being the first computer game removed from the premises. Despite being the home of the space program, and despite space travel being the ultimate in transportation, the powers that be didn't see its relevance to the Department of Transportation. Go figure. Two 20-sided dice (icosahedra) give you a number between 00 and 99 with an even probability distribution. Picture at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Icosahedron. Octahedra and dodecahedra (12-sided) are used as well. We even occasionally used the more famous hexahedron.
