I don't recall D&D being available on the 370.

Must be a younger generation type of thing.

Now, I did write a Star Trek game that was very popular at the
University for TSO....
And a console monitor back in '73.  But that was used to spy on the
central facility....

Dude!  You never played Dungeons & Dragons?  Two 20-sided dice
(icosahedra) give you a number between 00 and 99 with an even
probability
distribution.  Picture at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Icosahedron.
Octahedra and dodecahedra (12-sided) are used as well.  We even
occasionally used the more famous hexahedron.

I thought all computer geeks played D&D ....  :-)
