Betsie, IBM has also announced at the TPF User's Group (in Miami I believe, it was two or three TPFUG's ago) that they would support Systems/ASM as an alternative for TPF development.
Systems/ASM runs on z/Linux, Linux/390 as well as intel Linux, Windows and other platforms.
