This is why I prefer installation over HTTP when I'm first trying things. I can tell _exactly_ what the installer is trying to access, and where and how. The "search patterns" can be very informative about the possible directory layouts the installer is able to handle.

All the files from all four CDs must be copied into a single base directory before starting (preserving the directory structures on the CDs). In SLES9, things were laid out by CD, and we could just loop-mount them in the proper place. The documentation talks about being able to point directly to the ISO images, but I've not been able to get this to work, and there was no actual example. Any hints along this line would be useful, and would get me back to not having to explode the ISOs out. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For LINUX-390 subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: INFO LINUX-390 or visit http://www.marist.edu/htbin/wlvindex?LINUX-390
