Off on a tangent... Now that Macs are Intel based (duel 3 GH processors)... I wonder if Partition Magic will now support the Mac file system? Partition Magic, along with Boot Magic, is what I use to support multiple OSs on my PCs.
Had to go to it even since the OS/2 multiple boot option, didn't support the new partition types. Anyway, a report I saw on TV yesterday, said that all Mac code has been recompiled for Intel. There is an emulation product on the Mac, that will allow old Mac code to run on the Intel processors (with a performance hit, of course). And the new dual 3 Gh boxes are soo much faster than the G5 (what ever that means). And the new boxs are much cheaper than the G5s. Of course, booting to another OS is much different than running them concurrently under VMWare. I would really like to hear about this, but it will not happen unless Apple helps the Xen people to make it work. Mac OS X cannot be installed on any custom made Intel machine, only on apple hardware. I mean, legally and with an unmodified OS.
