I've searched all over but can find an answer so here I am.
On my local PC, I've downloaded the ISO images for the SLES10 from Novell and burned 4 CDs. >From the new vm guest got the following files via ftp from my PC: SLES10 IMAGE SLES10 INITRD SLES10 PARM Cloned a SLES10 EXEC from previous SLES9 install. 'CLOSE RDR' 'PURGE RDR ALL' 'SPOOL PUNCH * RDR' 'PUNCH SLES10 IMAGE A (NOH' 'PUNCH SLES10 PARM A (NOH' 'PUNCH SLES10 INITRD A (NOH' 'CHANGE RDR ALL KEEP NOHOLD' 'IPL 00C CLEAR' When I run SLES10 EXEC the problem arises soon after boot begins. Following is what I'm seeing on the console when things start going wrong: Searching for info file... *** Could not find the SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 Installation CD. Activating manual setup program. >>> Linuxrc v2.0.46 (Kernel 2.6.16.21-0.8-default) <<< Main Menu 1) Settings 2) System Information 3) Kernel Modules (Hardware Drivers) 4) Start Installation or System 5) Verify Installation CD-ROM/DVD 6) Eject CD 7) Exit or Reboot 8) Power off Can anybody tell me what I'm doing wrong? This process has worked for me in the past with other releases.
