I am seeing these start-up errors:

   Starting nfsboot (sm-notify) ..done
Importing Net File System (NFS)mount server reported tcp not
   available, falling
   back to udp
   mount: RPC: Program not registered
mount server reported tcp not available, falling back to udp
   mount: RPC: Program not registered

I do see many rpc entries but I am not sure what he is complaining about.
For those with nfs over tcp working, what entries do you see for rpc in
your /etc/services?
Thanks

192.168.47.68:/xs2files/ExternalMenu /xs2files/ExternalMenu nfs

- A 'netstat -apno' command issued on the client side will show 'tcp' in
the 'Proto' column for each of the mounts (Those with Port 2049 in the
Foreign Address)

Subject: NFS over TCP

Earlier on this list participants mention that NFS can run over UDP (no
added reliability) and over TCP (has error recovery). Perhaps these are
two obvious questions:

1) How does one tell which protocol is being used by a particular NFS
client?
2) How does one ensure an NFS server is using the TCP rather than UDP
protocol?

I ask this because we periodically see unrepeatable MD5 checksum errors
on our ISO materials, which (when one follows the trail) are located on
an NFS "appliance" server.
