Oh, OK then....the short answer is no, you can not run MS's SQLSERVER on
z/Linux. it requires a MS operating environment. You can, however, take
a look at Oracle, or IBM's DB2 for Linux as a replacement for the MS
product, if it is not meeting your needs in some way.

What do you mean by SQLSERVER? MS SQL Server won't run, no way, no how.
Do you mean Oracle, DB2, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or something else?
