For z/VM guests, you have to get past the physical security, and know the 
userid and password of the Linux system.  For LPAR installs, let's just say I 
haven't seen too many mainframes sitting in wiring closets.  Except for SHARE, 
WAVV, etc., I haven't actually been anywhere near a mainframe in years and 
years.  "Tightest of physical security" doesn't begin to approach what most 
mainframe shops employ.
