If your PCs are running DOS, 437 is ok.  Use 819 for Unix/AIX.  1252 for
(western) Windows.  923 for ISO 8859-15 (if you're using 924 on the host).

"type e" treats newline differently than "type a".  You'll be wanting to
read the RFC.
