Here is good site that lists some performance guesstimates. Remember that the specialty engines run at full speed. So in the case of a z/9 EC the IFL can be compared to the engine on the model 701, on your z/900 the engine can be compared to the model 101,1C1 or 2C1 depending on your current model and the processor card that is installed.
