I don't understand the question. z/OS is the latest incarnation of MVS, so the JCL should look the same. I don't know what a "shared partition" means in this context. z/OS cannot write to a Linux filesystem directly. z/OS can run NFS and mount a Linux subdirectory which has been appropriately exported via the "exportfs" command. I do this. There are a number of way to actually write to the Linux subdirectory which as been "mounted" on z/OS via NFS. All of the methods which are mentioned in the z/OS UNIX manuals should work. -- John McKown Senior Systems Programmer HealthMarkets Keeping the Promise of Affordable Coverage Administrative Services Group Information Technology The information contained in this e-mail message may be privileged and/or confidential.
