The following files in /var/cache/yup/SLES10-SP1-Updates/sles-10-s390x/repodata were corrupted:
repomd.xml repomd.xml.asc repomd.xml.key Once I realized where the corruption was, I simply deleted these files and reran the yup process. All is well. Errrr! I spent way too much time for a problem with such a simple solution. I hope this helps someone else.
